The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs is a Northern Ireland Department designated1, for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19722, in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Community and matters relating to the promotion of rural development.
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972.
