The Department of Justice makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 3A(5) of the Fatal Accidents (Northern Ireland) Order 1977(1)and now vested in the Department of Justice(2).

S.I. 1977/1251 (N.I. 18). Article 3A was inserted by section 68 of, and paragraph 4 of Schedule 6 to, the Administration of Justice Act 1982 (c.53). Article 3A(5) was amended by Articles 1(2) and 15(5) of, and paragraph 112 of Schedule 18 to the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (Devolution of Policing and Justice Functions) Order 2010 (S.I. 2010/ 976).
