The Rural Needs (2016 Act) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs 1, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Rural Needs Act (Northern Ireland) 2016 2, makes the following Order.

Citation1.

This Order may be cited as the Rural Needs (2016 Act) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017.

Appointed day2.

The day appointed for the coming into operation of sections 1 to 4 of the Rural Needs Act (Northern Ireland) 2016, as they apply to Northern Ireland departments and district councils as listed in the Schedule to that Act, is 1st June 2017.
