The Social Security (Infected Blood and Thalidomide) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2017

The Department for Communities makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 122(1)(a) and (d), 132(3) and (4), 132A(3) and 171(1), (3) and (4) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 19921, and section 165(4) and (6) of the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 19922, Articles 14(1) and (4) and 36(2) of the Jobseekers (Northern Ireland) Order 19953, and now vested in it4 and Article 29(1) and paragraph 8 of Schedule 1 to the Social Security (Recovery of Benefits) (Northern Ireland) Order 19975, sections 2(3)(b), 15(3) and (6)(b) and 19(1) to (3) of the State Pension Credit Act (Northern Ireland) 2002 6 and sections 17(1) and (3) and 25(2) of the Welfare Reform Act (Northern Ireland) 20077, makes the following Regulations.
