The Departments (2016 Act) (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016

The First Minister and deputy First Minister acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Departments Act (Northern Ireland) 20161, make the following Order.
Citation and Interpretation1.
(1)
This Order may be cited as the Departments (2016 Act) (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016.
(2)
In this Order “the Act” means the Departments Act (Northern Ireland) 2016.
Appointed day2.
The day appointed for the coming into operation of sections 1 and 2 of, and Schedules 1 and 2 to, the Act is 8th May 2016.
