The Department of Education, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 1(3) of the Education (Northern Ireland) Order 19981, makes the following Order:

Citation1.

This Order may be cited as the Education (1998 Order) (Commencement No.9) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016.

Appointed Day2.

Article 69 of the Education (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 shall come into operation on 14th April 2016.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into operation Article 69 of the Education (Northern Ireland) Order 1998, which provides for payment by the Department of capital and special purposes grants to grant-maintained integrated schools.
