The Department of the Environment makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 67(1) of the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 20141.

In accordance with section 67(3) of that Act, the Department has consulted the bodies specified in this Order, district councils and such other bodies and persons as the Department considers appropriate.

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Community Planning Partners) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016 and shall come into operation on 22nd March 2016.

Community planning partners2.

The bodies and persons specified in the Schedule (the functions of which are exercisable in the district of a council) are the Community Planning Partners of that council.
