Change of District Name (North Down and Ards) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016

Coming into operation
The Department of the Environment makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 51(1) of the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 19721 and now vested in it2.
In accordance with that section 51(1), the Department of the Environment has received an application from North Down and Ards Borough Council to change the name of the district of the council from North Down and Ards to Ards and North Down.
