A scheme advisory board (“the Northern Ireland Teachers' Pension Scheme Advisory Board”) is established.

The Northern Ireland Teachers' Pension Scheme Advisory Board is responsible for providing advice to the Department, at its request, on the desirability of changes to this scheme.

The Department is to determine the process by which the Northern Ireland Teachers' Pension Scheme Advisory Board discharges its functions.
