The Department of the Environment is designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 M1 in relation to measures relating to the prevention and limitation of the effects of accidents involving dangerous substances M2.
The Department makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and Article 4 of the Environment (NI) Order 2002 M3.
