<P><Text>These Regulations are made under section 28(6) of the Local Government Finance Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.</Text></P>
<P><Text>Regulation 2 specifies a number of bodies. In respect of expenditure incurred in any financial year in the provision of service for a council by those bodies, the Department of the Environment may defray that expenditure and deduct from the amount of any grant payable under section 26 (de-rating grant) or 27 (rates support grant) such amount (not exceeding the total of the expenditure so defrayed) as the Department of the Environment considers appropriate.</Text></P>
<P><Text>Regulation 3 revokes the General Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007.</Text></P>
