The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment being the Department concerned makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 17(1), 17(3), 45(1), 45(2) and 55(2) of the Health and Safety at Work (Northern Ireland) Order 1978 (“the 1978 Order”).

 The Regulations give effect without modifications to proposals submitted to it by the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland under Article 13(1A) of the 1978 Order after the Executive had carried out consultations in accordance with Article 46(3). Citation and commencement 1 These Regulations may be cited as the Health and Safety (Miscellaneous Revocations) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 and shall come into operation on 14th January 2013. Revocation 2 The following instruments are revoked: a Regulations, dated 2nd January 1913, for the Manufacture and Decoration of Pottery; b The Employment Medical Advisory Service (Factories Act Legislation Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1979; c Health and Safety (Foundries etc.) (Metrication) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982; d Non-ferrous Metals (Melting and Founding) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1964; Sealed with the Official Seal of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment on 13th December 2012.
