A member of the Scrutiny Committee shall hold office for a period of 4 years from the date of appointment, but shall be eligible for re-appointment at the expiration of that period.

No member of the Scrutiny Committee (including the chair and deputy chair) is to hold office as a member of that committee for more than an aggregate of 8 years in any 20 year period.
