Citation and interpretation1.

This Order may be cited as the Dogs (Amendment) (2011 Act) (Commencement No.3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012.

In this Order “the Act” means the Dogs (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.
Appointed Day2.
The day appointed for the coming into operation of the provisions of Section 2 (Microchipping) in the Act is the 9th day of April 2012.

This Order brings into operation on 9th April 2012 the provisions of Section 2 (Microchipping) of the Dogs (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.
The following provisions of the Dogs (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 have been brought into operation by 2 commencement orders made before the date of this Order
