Superannuation (Office of the Director and Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011

Coming into operation
The Department of Finance and Personnel makes the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 3(4) and (7) of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 1 and now vested in it 2.

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Office of the Director and Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011 and shall come into operation on 11th April 2011.

Additions to list of offices2.

There shall be added to the offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 with effect from 12th April 2010, the offices of,

(a)

the Director of Public Prosecutions for Northern Ireland;

(b)

the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions for Northern Ireland 3; and

(c)

any person appointed to act as Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions for Northern Ireland.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order adds the offices of Director of Public Prosecutions for Northern Ireland, Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions for Northern Ireland and any person appointed to act as Deputy Director of Prosecutions for Northern Ireland to the offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 for which the Department of Finance and Personnel may make pension schemes. It has retrospective effect by virtue of Article 3(7) of that Order.
