Tourism (Amendment) (2011 Act) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011

The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment(1) makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(4) of the Tourism (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011(2):

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Tourism (Amendment) (2011 Act) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011.

Appointed day

2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of section 1(1), (2) and (4), and sections 2 and 3 of the Tourism (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 is 11th April 2011.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order provides for the coming into operation of section 1(1), (2) and (4) and sections 2 and 3 of the Tourism (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.

Sections 4(2), 5, 6 and the Schedule came into operation on the day after Royal Assent.
