2.—(1) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Passenger and Goods Vehicles (Recording Equipment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996(1).
(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954(2) shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.
