EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order provides for an increase in the annual salaries payable to the Assembly Ombudsman for Northern Ireland and the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Complaints.
This provision is made with retrospective effect under Article 5(2) of the Ombudsman (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 and Article 4(2) of the Commissioner for Complaints (Northern Ireland) Order 1996.
Article 2 revokes the Salaries (Assembly Ombudsman and Commissioner for Complaints) Order (Northern Ireland) 2008.
