This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (2005 Order) (Commencement No.3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2007.
Appointed day2.
The day appointed for the coming into operation of Article 21 of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 is 12th March 2007.

This Order brings into operation on 12th March 2007 Article 21 of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 (“the parent Order”).
Article 21 provides for continuity, regarding a person’s appearance in a magistrates’ court, of bail granted by the police.
The following provisions of the parent Order were brought into operation on 19th August 2005 by the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 (Commencement No.1) Order 2005 (S.R. 2005 No. 382 (C. 29)):
Article 13 (Right to representation: loss of remission hearings);
Article 20 (Funding for speed cameras, etc); and
Article 22 (Right to representation: extradition proceedings).
The following provisions of the parent Order were brought into operation on 18th September 2006 by the Criminal Justice (2005 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2006 (S.R. 2006 No. 368 (C. 21)):
Articles 2 to 8 (Anti-social behaviour orders);
Article 24 (Evidence through live links); and
Article 27 and Schedule 2 (partially) (Repeals).
