The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, is designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Community.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972.Citation and commencement1These Regulations may be cited as The Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Revocation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 and come into operation on 13th December 2007.Interpretation2The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Northern Ireland Assembly.Revocation31Regulations 4 to 7 and 9 to 12 of The Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 are hereby revoked.2The Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007, except insofar as revoked by paragraph (1) shall be revoked on 31st December 2007.Sealed with the Official Seal of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on 13th December 2007.L.S.Elizabeth RedmondA senior officer of the Department of Agriculture and Rural DevelopmentEXPLANATORY NOTE(This note is not part of the Regulations)
