To be laid before Parliament under paragraph 7(3) of the Schedule to the Northern Ireland Act 2000
The Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 82(1), (3), (4) and (5) of the Equality Act 2006(1) and in all other powers enabling it in that behalf.
Citation and commencement
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Equality Act (Sexual Orientation) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006.
(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st of January 2007.

2. In regulation 3(4) for the words “or paragraph (1)” substitute “of paragraph (3)”.
