SCHEDULE 5 N.I. Sums to be disregarded in the calculation of earnings

2.  In the case of a claimant who, before the [F1 first day of entitlement to housing benefit]— N.I.

(a) has been engaged in part-time employment as an employed earner or, where the employment has been outside Northern Ireland, would have been so engaged had the employment been in Northern Ireland; and

(b) has ceased to be engaged in that employment, whether or not that employment has been terminated,

any earnings [F2 paid or due to be paid] in respect of that employment except—

(i) where that employment has been terminated, [F3 any payment of the nature described in regulation 32(1)(e)];

(ii) where that employment has not been terminated, [F4 any payment or remuneration of the nature described in regulation 32(1)(e), (i), (j) (in so far as it relates to regulation 32(1)(i)) or (k)].
