ACCESS TO JUSTICE

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Article 1(2) of the Access to Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2003(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order: –
1. This Order may be cited as the Access to Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 (Commencement No. 1) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003 and shall come into operation on 29th October 2003.
2. In Schedule 2 to the Access to Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003(2) for the entry “Article 46(1) to (3)” there shall be substituted the entry “Article 46(1) and (3)”.

This Order amends the Access to Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003 to amend the entry commencing certain provisions of Article 46 of the Access to Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 on 1st November 2003. The effect of the amendment is that Article 46(2) will not now be commenced on that date.
