The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development(1), on the recommendation of the Livestock and Meat Commission for Northern Ireland, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 4(1) to (4) of the Livestock Marketing Commission Act (Northern Ireland) 1967(2) and section 1 of the Livestock Marketing Commission (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 1969(3), and of every other power enabling it in that behalf hereby makes the following Regulations:–
