Citation, commencement and interpretation1.

This Order may be cited as the Gaming (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003 and shall come into operation on 28th March 2003.

In this Order “the 1985 Order” means the Betting, Gaming, Lotteries and Amusements (Northern Ireland) Order 1985.

The following are hereby revoked–

This Order–
increases the maximum money prize which can be distributed or offered in gaming for prizes on bingo club premises from £15 to £25;
increases the maximum entitlement to prizes in gaming by means of a gaming machine installed on licensed premises (within the meaning of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996) from £15 to £25.
