Environment (Northern Ireland) (2002 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003

The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(3) of the Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 20021 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1.

This Order may be cited as the Environment (Northern Ireland) (2002 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003.

Appointed day

2.

The day appointed for the coming into operation of Part III of Schedule 5 (together with so much of Article 53(1) as relates thereto) of the Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 is 28th February 2003.

3.

The day appointed for the coming into operation of Part II of Schedule 6 (together with so much of Article 53(2) as relates thereto) of the Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 is 28th February 2003.

This Order brings Part III of Schedule 5 (together with so much of Article 53(1) as relates thereto) and Part II of Schedule 6 (together with so much of Article 53(2) as relates thereto) of the Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 into operation on 28th February 2003.

Part IV and Schedule 4 to the Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 were brought into operation on 3rd February 2003 by the Environment (Northern Ireland) (2002 Order) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003 (S.R. 2003 No. 49 (C. 3)).
