(1)

The day appointed for the coming into operation of sections 6 to 10 and 12 of the Act (loss or benefit for commission of benefit offences)—

(a)

for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations, is 6th March 2002; and

(b)

for all other purposes, is 1st April 2002.

(2)

The day appointed for the coming into operation of section 11 of the Act (consequential amendments), is 1st April 2002.
