If a person who is entitled to apply to his employer under the Reserve Forces (Safeguard of Employment) Act 1985(1) enters the employment of that employer within the 6-month period mentioned in section 1(4)(b) of that Act, his previous period of employment with that employer (or if there was more than one such period, the last of those periods) and the period of employment beginning in that 6-month period shall be treated as continuous.
