21.

In Schedule 10—

(a)

in paragraph 17 of Part I, for the words “at least one side” there shall be substituted the words “each side and at the rear and front”;

(b)

after paragraph 24 of Part I, there shall be inserted the following paragraph—

“Elevated temperature substances25.

A container, tank or vehicle carrying any of the following dangerous goods—

  • UN 3257 ELEVATED TEMPERATURE LIQUID, N.O.S.

  • UN 3258 ELEVATED TEMPERATURE SOLID, N.O.S.

shall display on each side and at the rear a sign conforming in form and colour to figure 6, with sides of at least 250 mm.”; and

(c)

at the end, there shall be inserted the following figure—

“Figure 6Elevated temperature substances

The background colour of the sign shall be white, and the colour of the border and the thermometer symbol shall be red.”.
