Superannuation (Invest Northern Ireland) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002

Coming into operation
The Department of Finance and Personnel in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 3(4) and (7) of the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 19721 and now vested in it2 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Invest Northern Ireland) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002 and shall come into operation on 11th July 2002.

Addition to list of employments2.

There shall be added to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 with effect from 1st April 2002 employment in Invest Northern Ireland3.

This Order adds employment in Invest Northern Ireland to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 (“the 1972 Order”) for which the Department of Finance and Personnel may make pension schemes. It is retrospective by virtue of Article 3(7) of the 1972 Order.
