Citation, commencement and interpretation1
—These Regulations may be cited as the Community Drivers' Hours (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Temporary Exception) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 5) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001 and shall come into operation on 5th October 2001.

The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 19543 shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
Amendment of the Community Drivers' Hours (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Temporary Exception) (No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 20012
In regulation 2(1) (interpretation) of the Community Drivers' Hours (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Temporary Exception) (No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 20014, in the definition of “prescribed period” for the words “period of 30 days beginning on 4th September 2001” there shall be substituted “period of 30 days beginning on 4th October 2001”.
