Waterside, Coleraine Cycle/Pedestrian Bridge Order (Northern Ireland) 2000
AND WHEREAS the Department has taken into consideration the reasonable requirements of navigation over the waters affected by the order in accordance with Article 4(3) of that Order;
AND WHEREAS notice has been published and served in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 8 to that Order;
AND WHEREAS one objection was received and subsequently withdrawn;
Citation, commencement and interpretation1.

This Order may be cited as the Waterside, Coleraine Cycle/Pedestrian Bridge Order (Northern Ireland) 2000 and shall come into operation on 9th November 2000.

In this Order “the map” means the drawing numbered C9915/GA/02 marked “Waterside, Coleraine Cycle/Pedestrian Bridge Order (Northern Ireland) 2000” copies of which have been deposited at the Department’s Roads Service offices, Headquarters, Room 2-31, Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast; Northern Division, County Hall, Castlerock Road, Coleraine; and at the offices of Coleraine Borough Council, Cloonavin, 41 Portstewart Road, Coleraine.
Construction of bridge2.
The Department shall construct the bridge in the position and with the minimum dimensions both specified in the Schedule.

SCHEDULE
Position
The centre line of the bridge shall extend from a point on the west bank of the River Bann approximately 7 metres north of the Bann Bridge (Ordnance Survey map co-ordinates 284527 and 432435) to a point on the east bank approximately 7 metres north of the Bann Bridge (Ordnance Survey map co-ordinates 284603 and 432426) in the town of Coleraine, more particularly delineated and coloured green on the map.

This Order provides for the construction of a cycle/pedestrian bridge over the navigable waters of the River Bann from a point on the west bank approximately 7 metres north of the Bann Bridge (Ordnance Survey map co-ordinates 284527 and 432435) to a point on the east bank approximately 7 metres north of the Bann Bridge (Ordnance Survey map co-ordinates 284603 and 432426) in the town of Coleraine, County of Londonderry.
The proposed bridge is delineated on the map marked C9915/GA/02 copies of which have been deposited for inspection at the Department’s Roads Service offices, Headquarters, Room 2-31, Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast; Northern Division, County Hall, Castlerock Road, Coleraine; and at the offices of Coleraine Borough Council, Cloonavin, 41 Portstewart Road, Coleraine.
