In these regulations the expressions defined in Schedule A1 have the meanings given to them by that Schedule.

In these regulations, any reference to a Part of these regulations includes a reference to any Schedules to these regulations referred to in that Part, in so far as they apply for its purposes.

So far as is necessary for the purpose of regulation A1(2) to (10) the regulations shall be deemed to have effect from and including 6th April 1988.
