The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development(1), in exercise of the powers conferred on it by sections 127(1) and (3A) of the Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1966(2) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Undersized Whiting (Revocation) Order (Northern Ireland) 2000 and shall come into operation on 16th June 2000.

Revocation

2.  The Undersized Whiting Order (Northern Ireland) 1993(3) is hereby revoked.

Sealed with the Official Seal of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on 8th May 2000.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order revokes the Undersized Whiting Order (Northern Ireland) 1993 which prescribed a minimum size for whiting.
