Assistance for Minor Works to Dwellings (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997

The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 69(3) of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 19921 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement1.

These Regulations may be cited as the Assistance for Minor Works to Dwellings (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 and shall come into operation on 7th April 1997.

Amendment of Assistance for Minor Works to Dwellings Regulations (Northern Ireland) 19922.

In regulation 4(c) of the Assistance for Minor Works to Dwellings Regulations (Northern Ireland) 19922 the words “or income based jobseekers allowance under Part II of the Jobseekers (Northern Ireland) Order 19953” shall be inserted at the end.

These Regulations amend regulation 4 of the Assistance for Minor Works to Dwellings Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992 by adding income-based jobseekers allowance under Part II of the Jobseekers (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 to the list of qualifying benefits for minor works assistance grant.
