1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security Benefits Up-rating Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 8th April 1996.
(2) In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires—
“the Administration Act” means the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 1992; and
“the up-rating order” means the Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order (Northern Ireland) 1996(1).
