ENERGY CONSERVATION

The Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by sections 2(2) and (4) of the Energy Conservation Act 1996(1) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order—
1. This Order may be cited as the Energy Conservation Act 1996 (Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of the Energy Conservation Act 1996 shall be 5th December 1996.
