(This note is not part of the Order).
This Order further amends the Planning (General Development) Order (Northern Ireland) 1993 to permit, subject to certain qualifications and restrictions—
(a)
a change of use of a building from Class 1 (shops) or Class 2 (financial, professional and other services) of the Schedule to the Planning (Use Classes) Order (Northern Ireland) 1989 (“the 1989 Order”), to a mixed use for any purposes within either Class 1 or Class 2 and as a single flat; and
(b)
a change of use from a mixed use for any purposes within either Class 1 or Class 2 of the Schedule to the 1989 Order and as a single flat to either Class 1 or Class 2 use.
