In Article 30A of the Rates (Northern Ireland) Order 1977 (rate relief scheme in respect of dwellings) in paragraph (3) for sub-paragraph (a) substitute—

“(a)

provision for purposes corresponding to those of any statutory provision—

(i)

which has any application in relation to housing benefit or universal credit; or

(ii)

which, at any time specified in the regulations (being a time before the coming into operation of the regulations), had any application in relation to housing benefit;”.
