Section 72 of the Towns Improvement (Ireland) Act 1854 is amended as follows.

Omit the words from “and any constable” to “(that is to say)”.

Omit the words “Every common prostitute or nightwalker loitering and importuning passengers for the purpose of prostitution, or being otherwise offensive, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding level three on the standard scale”.

Omit the words “Every person who wilfully and indecently exposes his person, or who commits any act contrary to public decency, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding level three on the standard scale:”.
