Resource excess for year ending 31st March 20057

This Article—

a

authorises (for the purpose of section 6(1) of the 2001 Act) the use of resources by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety for certain purposes in the year ending 31st March 2005;

b

increases the relevant limit (for the purpose of section 8(1) of that Act) on the accruing resources that may be directed to be used by that Department for those purposes in that year in addition to resources authorised by any other statutory provision to be used for those purposes in that year.

In that year resources may be used by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety for the purposes specified in that Department's Request for Resources A relating to health and personal social services superannuation (as set out in column 1 of Schedule 2) up to the amount of £32,164,692.48.

In that year accruing resources not exceeding £12,148,511.50 may be directed to be used by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety for those purposes.

Those resources and accruing resources are additional to any resources or accruing resources authorised by or under any other statutory provision to be used for those purposes in that year.
