36.—(1) The Department may prepare a map for the purposes of any—

(a) traffic regulation order;

(b) parking place order; or

(c) extinguishment order.

(2) The Department shall ensure that any map to which reference is made by a traffic regulation order, a parking place order or an extinguishment order is—

(a) available for inspection by the public; and

(b) preserved for record purposes.

(3) In this Article—

“extinguishment order” means—

(a)

an order made, or which the Department proposes to make, under Article 100(1) of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 (NI 11);

(b)

any provision having effect as if so made;

“map” includes a map in electronic form;

“parking place order” means—

(a)

an order made, or which the Department proposes to make, under Article 10(4) or 15(1) of the 1997 Order;

(b)

any provision having effect as if so made;

“traffic regulation order” means—

(a)

an order made, or which the Department proposes to make, under Article 4 of the 1997 Order;

(b)

any prohibition or restriction having effect, or which the Department intends to impose, under Part III of the 1997 Order;

(c)

such other provisions of a similar nature as the Department considers appropriate.
