2.—(1) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 (c. 33) applies to this Order as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.
(2) In this Order—
“the Department” means the Department of Finance and Personnel;
“modify” has the meaning given by Article 2(2) of the principal Order;
“the principal Order” means the Rates (Northern Ireland) Order 1977 (NI 28).
