The following rules apply for the purposes of the enactments relating to social security, that is, the following Acts and the instruments (as defined in section 1 of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954102) made, or having effect as if made, under them: the Contributions and Benefits Act, the Administration Act and the Pension Schemes Act.
