In Schedule 3 to the Contributions and Benefits Act (contribution conditions), in paragraph 5(3)(a) (conditions for widowed mother's allowance, widow's pension and Category A and Category B retirement pension), after “class” insert “or been credited (in the case of 1987–88 or any subsequent year) with earnings”.
