Subject to paragraphs (2) and (3), an appeal which lies from a relevant decision must be received by the Director within one month of the date of notification of that decision.

Where a dispute arises as to whether an appeal was brought within the time limit prescribed in this regulation, the dispute shall be referred to, and determined by, a presiding member selected for that purpose by the Director.

The time limit prescribed in this regulation for bringing an appeal may be extended in accordance with regulation 9.
