3. The chief inspector must exercise his functions under regulation 7 so as to ensure compliance with the following provisions of the IED—
(a)Article 67 (prohibition of the disposal of waste);
(b)Article 68 (control of emissions into water);
(c)Article 69 (prevention and control of emissions into air); and
(d)Article 70 (monitoring of emissions).
