Section 2 and this section come into operation on the day after the day on which this Act receives Royal Assent.

Section 1 comes into operation on such day or days as the Department for Communities may by order appoint.

An order under subsection (2) may contain such transitional, transitory or saving provision as the Department for Communities considers appropriate.

This Act may be cited as the Social Security (Terminal Illness) Act (Northern Ireland) 2022.
