In Article 39 (meaning of “adoption” in Part 5), in paragraph (2) after “this Part” insert “but does not include an adoption of a kind mentioned in sub-paragraphs (c) to (d) of paragraph (1) effected on or after the day on which Chapter 4 of Part 1 of the Adoption and Children Act (Northern Ireland) 2022 comes into operation”.N.I.
