Licensing of Pavement Cafés Act (Northern Ireland) 2014 Explanatory Notes

Section 14: Revocation of licence

  • the licensed area (or part thereof) has become, or is going to become, unsuitable for that purpose;

  • continuing to use all, or any part of the public area, for that purpose would cause undue interference or inconvenience to persons or vehicles in the vicinity, or be likely to result in disorder; and

  • the licence holder has –

    • in connection with any application, made a statement known to be false, or failed to fix a notice to the premises specified in the application;

    • persistently failed to comply with any condition of a licence;

    • failed to pay any fee (without good reason) to the council.
